Back in May, we attended the 'Tour de Mountain Green' community picnic. We purchased like 12 raffle tickets, not knowing what any of the prizes were. Rob entered all of the kids names on the raffle tickets, and sure enough, Kate's name was pulled. She was so excited, she had won 'a letter'!!! I have never seen a child so excited over a piece of paper in an envelope. Little did she know, we were able to use her 'letter' for a two night stay at Wolf Lodge in Eden, Utah - just across the mountain from where we currently live, nestled in the Ogden valley by Pineview dam. It is so pretty this time of year. We did everything we possibly could imagine, we played tennis, rode our bikes (Rob and I rode around the lake!), watched movies and of course - swam, swam and swam some more. This kids loved going from the hot tub to the cool pool. I believe Kaitlyn scared a few elk in the mountains when she screamed as she jumped into the cool water!
The Noel kids were able to come swimming Friday during the day. Dad, Mom and uncle Bob were able to come up for dinner Friday night.
Did I mention that Cooper jumped onto a rusty roofing nail the first 20 minutes we arrived? It drove into his foot about 1/3 of an inch - making a nice puncture on his little foot. Thank goodness he was up to date on his tetnis shots! There is a picture of the nail - ugly thing.

Snowbasin Hike
On a regular Thursday evening, after dinner around 8:00 pm., we decide to go on a hike to Snowbasin. We stopped at the "Green Pond" trail, hoping to find the pond - after about a 5 mile hike, we still didn't see a pond, but we still had tons of fun. We were proud of Cooper, we only had to carry him two times!
